About

At Home With Growing Old. A Design Initiative Starting At A Grass Roots Level.

AHWGO was started in 2009 in the San Francisco Bay Area by Susanne Stadler, an architect, and Natasha Boissier, a social worker, with the goal to promote an interdisciplinary dialogue among experts, thinkers, activists and designers on the topic of aging. Out of this exchange will evolve a network of people that work together to solve problems and suggest solutions for our society to be at home with growing old.

The co-organizer of the group is Donna Schempp, the formerĀ  Program Director of Family Caregiver Alliances in San Francisco.

AHWGO meets once a month in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you are interested in participating either physically or via the net send us an email to info@athomewithgrowingold.com. We welcome comments, articles, ideas and inspirations, from profiles of people in their second stage of life to policy initiatives on city and national levels that will impact and inspire how people experience aging.
