Older Adults as Drivers of Innovation

June 7, 2018 6pm to 8pm
Arup Foresight
560 Mission Street Ste. 700, San Francisco

Join us for an evening of entrepreneurial inspiration. Hear from older adults and learn how they are continuing their careers and pursuing their passions as entrepreneurs here in the Bay Area.

Leading us in this conversation will be:

Janet Oh, the Director of The Encore Prize, a new program investing in innovative and scalable solutions utilizing encore talent in solving pressing social problems.

Paul Tasner became an entrepreneur at 66 and is now producing biodegradable packaging for consumer goods with his firm PulpWorks Inc.

Kate Williams is a 2014 Purpose Prize Winner. After losing her sight, she is forging a new path by helping blind people combat discrimination and find jobs.

Moderator:

Gretchen Addi, Design Consultant, and AHWGO Board Member
