About the Workshop:
Most of us grow older in private homes. In this participatory workshop, architect Susanne Stadler will teach participants how to turn their homes into allies in their aging experience. The workshop will introduce a new way of thinking about making a home age-ready, one that is as much about safety as it is about comfort and delight.

In addition to a new vision, participants will walk away with practical design advice and a curated list of strategies, product ideas and materials for age-friendly design (the ‘Aging 360™ Toolbox’).  To get the full benefit of the workshop participants are encouraged to engage creatively, do some ‘home’ work and attend all three sessions.

We invite homeowners, renters and those who consider moving! Big and small ideas and solutions will be discussed. *Please note that this workshop covers our physical world and not software applications or tools such as sensors.
