Our Board President shares,“As 2023 comes to a close, it is a time when families get together to give thanks and celebrate holidays. It is a time when families may also learn that their parents have physically changed and that their homes may need to be reconsidered to meet their aging needs. Aging 360 training is designed to provide both insights and actual suggestions about affordable modifications to help their parents stay in the home they have loved for so long, with safety and joy as guides. This takes place in-person or by Zoom over 3 weekends for 1.5 hours each time.

• $120 funds a scholarship for an online 3-session Aging 360 workshop
• $350 funds 70 items for age-friendly home adaptations for 15 low-income residents of Single Room Occupancy Hotels in San Francisco 
• $500 trains one new Aging 360 leader and helps us reach more older persons living in underserved communities
• $1,000 funds ten Aging 360 alumni meetings for low-income older persons
