About the Conversation:  Jennifer Wong, PhD is leading the newly founded Wallis Annenberg GenSpace located in Los Angeles’ Koreatown  in a stunning, new building designed by one of the international star architects. In this conversation Jennifer will address the innovative vision for the GenSpace, the opportunities the context of this unique building offers to execute this vision and the challenges of supporting a healthy aging experience in the face of increasing social isolation.

More About Jennifer Wong:

Jennifer Wong PhD was appointed Executive Director of the Wallis Annenberg GenSpace in December of 2020. Previously, Dr. Wong has been assisting the California Department of Aging, helping to develop Governor Newsom’s Master Plan on Aging as California’s over-65 population is projected to grow sharply in the next decade and worked with Public Health – Seattle & King County in Washington, performing research and providing developmental support to improve emergency services for those with cognitive disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, and other forms of dementia. 

Dr. Wong completed her Doctorate in Experimental Psychology from the University of Montana, holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from Cal State Sacramento, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of San Francisco.
