We have been slow in sharing this, partly because we could not believe our luck in having such a smooth transition between Natasha Boissier, the co-founder of the group,  who gave birth to a daughter last summer and Donna Schempp as our new  co-organizer. It is great to have Donna on board. She is incredibly knowledgeable, knows everybody, everybody knows her and she is highly esteemed beyond her field. Donna has retired from her position as Program Director of Family Caregiver Alliances in San Francisco but apparently retirement does not really stick. She currently is part time clinical director for Jewish Family and Children Services in Berkeley and Family Caregiver Alliances wants her back on a part time basis too. In her generosity in sharing her wisdom, she is a role model for being ‘at home with growing old’. I feel fortunate to work with her and grow this interdisciplinary group of professionals into a true resource for all of us.
