Aging 360 Program Manager (Part-Time)

At Home With Growing Older (AHWGO) is seeking a Program Manager as a key contributor to the expansion of Aging 360, a unique, participatory workshop program that invites older adults to become agents in adapting their homes with simple, low-cost or no-cost means to age in place with increased connection, safety, and delight.
This new role offers significant opportunities for professional development in evidence-informed program evaluation, community health programming, nonprofit management, and inclusive and age-friendly design. You will be coming in at the ground-level of scaling an innovative program that was developed by architects and social workers and has been successfully piloted over the last three years in diverse communities including formerly unhoused older adults. The position provides direct experience with all aspects of community-based health programming and offers pathways for advancement as our organization and the program expands.

Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership Development & Management
- The access to Aging 360 will expand through building long-term relationships with local community partners, from developers of supportive housing to senior centers. Our goal is to grow from our first group of three partners to up to ten active partners within the next two years.
- Working with the Program Director, the Program Manager will develop approaches to identify and cultivate relationships with organizations that share our vision across geographic regions, contributing to how we scale our impact and create sustainable partnerships that advance our mission.
Responsibilities will include:
- Designing a comprehensive partner database that captures engagement history, partnership status, and contact information thus creating a living resource that informs strategic partnership decisions
- Coordinating program updates and newsletters
- Researching and evaluating community organizations for mission alignment and partnership potential
Workshop Delivery & Quality Assurance
Aging 360 is a unique, dynamic learning tool that meets participants where they are while maintaining the key learning concepts.
For the first time Aging 360 is training facilitators in partner organizations who have diverse skill levels and experiences to deliver Aging 360 workshops. Maintaining the quality of workshop delivery while tapping into the unique skills of local facilitators will therefore be an important ingredient in the sustainability of the workshop program.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and testing preparation protocols and checklists that standardize our approach across all partner organizations
- Managing workshop calendar systems
- Developing onboarding protocols for new facilitators
- Gathering facilitator feedback through regular check-ins to optimize participant and facilitator learning experiences
Impact Measurement, Reporting & Communication
This position will assist in the implementation and piloting of a comprehensive monitoring and measurement strategy developed with our data evaluation specialist to systematically track, analyze, and communicate program effectiveness. The Program Manager insights will be crucial in refining this strategy after the initial pilot phase.
Responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating data collection and processing systems that capture both quantitative metrics and qualitative participant experiences
- Collecting and compiling participant stories that serve dual purposes: improving workshop curriculum and demonstrating impact to external stakeholders
- Assisting with transforming data into compelling narratives for funders
- Communicating content to our social media team
Internal Team Communications
This position will work directly with a small, committed, and diverse intergenerational team of key personnel, consultants, and volunteers in our dynamic startup environment. This close-knit structure offers unique opportunities for creative collaboration and direct impact on organizational direction.
Reporting directly to both the Executive Director and Program Director—who brings an architect’s design perspective to our programming—the Program Manager will be part of innovative conversations that shape how we approach aging initiatives. In this nascent organization, your voice and ideas will directly influence our growth and creative problem-solving approaches.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, nonprofit management, social work, psychology, architecture, design or related field or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program management, community partnerships, user experience design or nonprofit operations
- Demonstrated experience with project coordination and multi-stakeholder management
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, database management, and basic data analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience working directly with older adults and people with functional variations or in roles that support their wellbeing and quality of life
- Demonstrated experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Experience with grant writing or fundraising support preferred
- Knowledge of aging and/or disability services, community health, inclusive design or home safety issues preferred
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Green Card holder)

Position Details
