2009
At Home With Growing Older (AHWGO) is co-founded by Susanne Stadler, architect and Natashia Boissier, social worker to re‑imagine the emotional, social and physical environment of the later phases of life. 1st learning forum with 8 people.
2011
AHWGO finds long‑term venue sponsor in Center for Accessible Technology which grants access to the universally designed Ed Roberts Campus in Berkeley for East Bay learning forums.
2012
Volunteer staff of 6 professionals from industrial design, architecture, communication, social services, psychology and public policy commit to helping the movement grow.
2014
60 forums with more than 70 presenters from over 10 disciplines completed and over 1000 people served.
2016
1st successful pilot for Aging 360™ workshop in partnership with the Community Living Campaign, San Francisco.
2017
Application to become a California nonprofit corporation filed and approved. First founding board meeting with seven members culled from a diverse group of professionals and community leaders.
2018
Mailing list reaches 500 participants from 25 to 92 years old.
Rhoda Goldman Plaza, San Francisco becomes Season Sponsor.
Berkeley Board Fellows Program at the Haas School of Business accepts AHWGO’s project to develop organization specific measurements of success.
Successful comedy fundraiser at Piano Fight in San Francisco.
2019
AHWGO gets a new logo designed by RESIN Advertising.
Mailing list reaches more than 700 subscribers with more than 1600 participants served.
1st agein celebrating AHWGO’s 10th anniversary at Ed Roberts Campus in Berkeley.
2nd group of Berkeley Board Fellows at the Haas School of Business accepts AHWGO application to conduct a landscape analysis of potential partners.
AHWGO becomes UCSF’s community partner in developing the AgeSelfcare curriculum with a customized Aging 360 curriculum.
2020
AHWGO shifts focus toward meeting the growing need for at-home socialization and community connection through virtual At Home, On Air forums.
The first season of At Home, On Air reaches audiences across the nation.
2021
In response to popular demand, AHWGO’s At Home, On Air is launched as a bi-weekly podcast in August.
AHWGO successfully launches the online Aging 360™ workshop.
2022
The second season of At Home, On Air continues, and the bi-weekly podcast episodes reach over 1000+ listens.
AHWGO Board of Directors welcomes two new members.
AHWGO refocuses its capacity on scaling the Aging 360™ workshop. With a grant from the Henry Mayo Newhall Foundation, AHWGO teams up with San Francisco community organizations who address the needs of underserved elders.
